Retain-It storm water infiltration systems provide one of the industry’s highest "infiltration rates per surface area" available on the market today. For systems with a profile of at least three feet, total costs (value engineering) of Retain-It infiltration systems fall anywhere from 10% to 30% below traditional pipe/structural stone systems. These saving are realized largely through a substitution of Retain-It modules (91% + void ratio) for structural stone (40% void ratio) - this increase in storage volumes enables a significant reduction in footprint for any given infiltration system.

Like any other Retain-It storm water management system, internal controls can be incorporated into an infiltration system, creating treatment zones which filter out impurities, pre-infiltration. Additionally, Retain-It modules are manufactured to meet a true standalone H-20 loading capacity – our infiltration systems can be built beneath parking lots, roadways, or buildings without relying on a structural stone zone for support.
